At FactoryType, we like to think of letters as more than just digital shapes; they are a way to share a feeling. We call it “Letters with a Story to Tell” – a simple spot where careful craft meets a very honest, human side.
We work from our small studio in Bali. Most of our days are spent noticing the rhythms around us—from the steady lines of the rice fields to the hand-painted shop signs we see on our afternoon walks. It’s these quiet, local details that we bring into our typefaces, making sure every font we release feels like it has a bit of “soul” and a real history.
What we do:
Build reliable tools: We design typefaces that are easy to use and work well across different projects, whether it’s a small label for a local brand or a big campaign in a busy city.
Care about the details: We’re quite particular about every curve and the space between letters, so you don’t have to worry about the technical bits and can just focus on your creative work.
